Symbol offers assessment, support or a combination of both service elements. We consider the needs of the adults in their own right as people who are vulnerable and their potential to parent their children.
Our services are tailored to meet the needs of individual families and their supporting services. Sometimes it is appropriate to assess a family’s skills within their own home, and in this case our community assessment team may be utilized.
In other cases a residential based assessment and support service is required. Some of our families begin their time with us on a residential basis and we complete our assessment once they return home. We have a semi support service that provides a staged return home or a less supervised assessment model.
